C4C Police Jiu-Jitsu (C4CPJJ) is a law enforcement-specific defensive tactics training system developed and designed by a career law enforcement of ficer, BJJ/MMA Coach, and BJJ Black Belt, Chad Lyman. C4CPJJ is a comprehensive program of instruction that can serve as a foundational program for academies, in-service training, or be instituted within a department to offer ongoing training designed to improve officers capabilities and growth.
C4CPJJ is currently being taught throughout the U.S. and internationally and consistently receives high marks from clients during critical reviews. C4CPJJ instructors are former or current police officers, BJJ Black Belts and career coaches. Many of our coaches have testi fied successfully in court in use of force matters. There will be court- recognized use of force subject matter experts among the training staff, ensuring course content is within court requirements for reasonable force option choices.
C4C Police Jiu-Jitsu Level One and Two:
A "game plan" or course curriculum comes with each level that can be used as the department's exact defensive tactics (DT) curriculum or supplement a department's current DT curriculum.
C4CPJJ Level 1 & 2 includes a bonus foundation level for officers who have no experience in DT or combatives. This foundational level material is perfect for an academy setting, for of ficers in an FTO position, or for police departments who do not have a current control/grappling curriculum and wish to transition to this type of training.
The foundations level sets the foundation, and levels one and two allow of ficers to progress over time, realizing growth in their personal ability within the DT program. As of ficers continue to improve and grow, they will develop increased con fidence, capability, control, and compassion for subjects that they may have to use force on. C4CPJJ is a complete DT system based on the LEO reasonable outcomes of control and then custody. It is NOT a simple BJJ lesson plan called "LEO" Training."
Level 1 & 2-course topics include:
Instruction and demonstration of effective teaching strategies:
Of ficers who successfully attend and complete the course will receive credit at the appropriate level. Students are encouraged to use the curriculum from the training within their department and share and teach the same to other officers.
Graduates are not certi fied to teach or represent C4CPJJ outside of department duties without invitation and written authorization from Chad Lyman. Completing Level 2 or higher will authorize students to attend advanced C4CPJJ coursework (Level 3-5) in the future.
